Hello, I am not knowledgeable about Tennessee, but the US Bureau of Labor Statistics has a lot of information regarding types of jobs and typical wages by state. Here is their URL: http://www.bls.gov/ Regards,

What are my career options with a Computer Science Bachelors Degree?
I've always thought I wanted a Digital Media Design or Visual Communications degree, but I realize now that computer science can probably get me further in life. So, what career options am I looking at with a Computer Science degree?

Can a computer science degree get me into video game industry
Can a computer science degree get me into video game industry?
video game industry need computer experts so I am wondering does anyone with a computer science degree can pay the bill of being a programmer for the games they make. Also is the usual programming same as the game programming, because I saw classes for "game programming" and not labeled as "computer science."

I am certainly no expert but I don't think that "Computer Science Degree" equates to "Game Programming", unless you know programming stuff... But then again what do I know?

It sounds like you really want to be a game designer, at this point since you are just about to graduate high school you should already be designing your own interactive computer games (everyone else going for a career in game design is) when you go to college you should be at the top of your class (everyone else going for a career in game design is) and should be building a portfolio of games that you can show to prospective employers when you are ready to graduate(everyone else going for a career in game design is). When you graduate you will be one of a million people looking for a job in game design so you better have the best portfolio and greatest personality of all the job seekers. After graduation if you are lucky enough to get a job be ready to work 80-100 hours a week and get paid little (because really there are thousands of geeks out there ready to take your place at the drop of a hat).

Can you become an accountant with a computer science degree
Can you become an accountant with a computer science degree?
Would a degree in computer science be applicable to a job in accounting? Would a degree in accountancy be applicable for a job as a programmer?

i believe you can

No, you cannot become an accountant with only a computer science degree. You wouldn't have the education to pass the CPA exam and get your license. Also, no one would hire you to do their accounting if you have no formal accounting education.
