I'm interested in getting a degree in Computer Science. I looked up Cal Poly Pomona & I really like their campus. So is their department for it any good? What other CSU have good computer science departments? How hard is it to get in that school as a transfer student?

I have taken a few courses in the CS department and of course there are always good and bad teachers, but generally a good department and tons better teachers than a cc. It's easy to transfer into the cs program if you have 90 qtr or 60 semester units from your cc. The classes are full of geeks and cs is a tough field for many, good luck. Average GPA I heard from the dean was for a CS student at pomona is 2.3
